Relational Feedback
Why Feedback Fails and How to Make it Meaningful
Relational Leadership Coaching
What’s the biggest disrupter to individual, team and business success?
In my experience – it’s Relationships!
Investing in developing technical skills and knowledge is only part of the story!.
A prime distinguisher of capability is how we interpret our own and others’ behaviour and build resilience to cope with setbacks to maintain personal power. Empirical observations from my business career reveal that a major obstacle interfering with human performance is interpersonal relationships. I’ve noticed that few apparently escape the unease that disharmonious working can bring to the workplace.
This uninvited ‘sabotager’ of productive performance has no respect for high IQ, hard earned qualifications or career dedication; we can all be susceptible to relationship breakdown.
We may seek to understand and take responsibility for bridging any fracture, possibly accept that variations in relationship quality are to be expected on the basis we can’t get on with everyone - or think the issue rests with others and not ourselves. The good news is that we can do something about it!
A study of the human condition reinforced with an evidence-based research study focused on relationship and with a specific focus on the giving and receiving feedback has enabled me to offer an approach of a ‘way of being’ in relationship management.
